Just believe in low achievers !!!!

Most of the students aren't really low achievers, we classify them as low achievers, since we don't believe in their abilities.  If any teacher believes in the abilities of the low achievers in her class, she will reflect this positive believe on her students, and they will start to believe in themselves. The teacher may help those students in many ways, she can give them more attention, more work, and variety of tasks to improve their points of weakness. Sure she should know the weakness of every student separately to know how to help them with the suitable activities and extra work to overcome it. Moreover, we shouldn't divide the low and high achievers into two different sections, since the ability grouping will hurt the low achievers, in every class we should have high achievers, they will help weak students through group work, and many other ways.
So, do your best as teachers to help the low achievers to never give up.

  1. In fact, each teacher should take into consideration the different abilities, preferences, learning styles of her students, and try to craft activities that fit their needs and motivate them to work cooperatively, because they profit from each other and they get the opportunity to express themselves freely.

  2. As we know that there are levels of intelligence and abilities. The role of the teacher is to work to discover this level and improve it, and that depends on the way he/she deals with the students to let them show their abilities and that can be achieved through the courage, support, let them feel they have potentials, and treat all of them equally.

  3. I can actually relate two points here.
First, if we learn to care about minute details, and if we vary our strategies around our students, their leaning styles, and preferences, we will actually notice that there is nothing called low achiever; rather, it's the group called "the not yet". Through following proper techniques, we will get to help these studets adhere, as much as possible, to the achieving group.
Second, Ability Grouping has proved to be a devastating strategy. It stigmatizes students, and they really know it; besides, it prevents them from benefiting from the experience of others. It's to be avoided, always!

  5. Einstein is a true evidence. He was kicked out from school because he was labeled as a low achiever and more as an upnormal child or a handicap
